Terms of use
Overload: Strength Coach, com.benbasha.overload · Last updated: September 2026
Using the app
Overload is for personal use: recording your own training, following your own plan, and viewing your own history. Do not use the app for unlawful purposes or in a way that harms others. Do not attempt to circumvent the in-app purchase, and do not redistribute or resell the app.
No account, no server
There is no sign-up, no login and no user account, and we operate no server that holds your training log. Nothing in these terms grants you a service; what you get is a licence to use the app on your own devices.
It is a coach and logger, not medical or fitness advice
Overload records what you log and computes a suggested next number from it. It does not provide medical, physical-therapy or professional coaching advice, and no number it shows is a guarantee that a given load or set is safe for you. Training carries a risk of injury. Stop if something hurts, use the app's "hurts" swap option, and consult a qualified professional before starting a new training program, especially if you have an existing condition or injury.
Overload is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or monitor any medical condition. Everything it shows is arithmetic over the data you entered and the feedback you tapped, not a statement about your actual physical capacity.
Your data
Your sessions, sets, feedback taps, cycles, gym profile, measurements, settings and purchase status are stored on your device. There is no server and no cloud copy. Backup, retention, or loss of that data (for example when deleting the app, restoring a device or switching phones) is your responsibility; the app offers a manual JSON export you choose where to save. See the privacy policy for what the app does and does not collect.
Purchases
Overload Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase (no subscription, nothing to cancel) made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, at $7.99 or the local equivalent set by the store. The free tier stays free: exploring 10 exercises, one exercise and one full set a day running the complete engine, swap-with-reason, the plate calculator, the rest timer, the Live Activity, the small widget and JSON export, at no cost, indefinitely.
The purchase is a transaction with Apple or Google, not with us. Payment, taxes, receipts, refunds and purchase restoration are governed by the terms of the store you bought from, and refunds are requested from that store; we cannot issue them. Restoring a previous purchase on a new device is free and is done through the store account you bought with. Purchases are per platform: buying on iOS does not unlock Pro on Android, and the reverse.
We may change the price or the contents of Pro for future buyers; a purchase you have already made is not revoked by such a change.
Availability and changes to the app
Overload runs offline and does not depend on a server of ours. We may nonetheless change, update or discontinue features in future versions. Operating-system updates, device limitations, background restrictions, language availability for on-device models, or a store's policies may affect behaviour such as widgets, Lock Screen widgets, the Live Activity, Siri, Shortcuts or Apple Health write; those are outside our control.
Warranty
The app is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app is error-free, that a recommended load or progression is appropriate for your body or history, or that a sentence you type into the Say-it field is always read the way you meant it. Today's number is always shown before you start a set; check it against how you actually feel.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the app, including an injury, a missed session, lost data, or any training decision you made while using it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app.
Children
Overload is a general-audience fitness utility and is not directed at children.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
